Privacy Policy
WUDOG Dog Training ("WUDOG", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you visit training.wudog.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
We only collect what we need to schedule your free in-home demonstration and operate the site:
- Information you give us through the contact form: your name, phone number, your preferred contact method (call, text, or either), and any optional notes you choose to share about your dog or situation.
- Basic site analytics: standard data like the page you visited, the device and browser you used, the referring source (for example, a Google ad), and a rough geographic region. This is collected automatically by third-party analytics tools described below.
We do not ask for an email address, payment information, or any sensitive personal data through this site.
How We Use It
- To contact you and schedule your free in-home demonstration.
- To follow up about scheduling, training, or questions you've raised.
- To understand which pages and ads bring qualified visitors so we can improve the site.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the contact form (for example, spam submissions).
Third-Party Tools We Use
To run this site and respond to leads, we use a small number of trusted service providers. They process limited information on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and helps protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may process your IP address and basic request data for security and reliability.
- Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads — measure site traffic and ad performance. Google may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. We use this only in aggregate, not to identify individual visitors.
- Microsoft Clarity — captures anonymous session recordings and heatmaps so we can see how visitors actually use the page (where people click, where they get stuck). It does not collect form input values.
- Twilio — when you submit the contact form, we send an SMS alert to Chris (the trainer) so he can follow up quickly. The text includes the name, phone number, contact preference, and any notes you provided.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever. We don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only time your information leaves our hands is when it's needed for the purposes above (for example, sending an SMS alert through Twilio).
Cookies and Tracking
The third-party tools listed above may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to count visits, measure ad performance, and record anonymous session activity. You can clear cookies, block them, or use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting at any time. Doing so will not break the contact form.
How Long We Keep It
If you submit the contact form and become a customer, we keep your contact information for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you reach back out. If you don't become a customer, we keep your information for up to 12 months and then delete it.
Aggregated, anonymous analytics data may be kept longer in line with Google's and Microsoft's standard retention policies.
Your Rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what information we have on file for you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information from our records.
- Stop contacting you.
Just call or text us at (925) 400-8006 and we'll take care of it. No forms, no fuss.
Children
This site and our services are intended for adults inquiring about dog training. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
